I attended the FA Cup fixture Fulham v. Tottenham at Craven Cottage in London. I got the tickets the Friday before this Sunday afternoon match. Fulham is one of the EASIEST clubs to get tickets to as a non-club member as they have a sizable neutral section.
The stadium itself is decently sized with really no bad seat in the house, you won’t be in the nose bleeds. The stadium is about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearby tube station, but its a lovely scenic route through that made for a decent trip.
The game was set up to be an entertaining match up with red hot Tottenham looking to win big on their journey to Wembley. Fulham has been a formidable side within the Championship, but still are miles away in quality from Tottenham. If Tottenham started half of their first team squad, this should be no contest.
And sure enough… here are the highlights
Tottenham played all their starters including Harry Kane who netted a hat-trick and Dele Alli who ran all over Fulham.
The atmosphere was still very good in the neutral section, probably due to the fact that many away Tottenham fans found their way in and were chanting and singing wildly. The FA cup always has the potential to provide some great thrills, and this match certainly validated that thought.
I would certainly attend a game at Craven Cottage again.
